How much is a chrome delete?
Chrome delete pricing depends on how much trim your vehicle has. Window trim only runs $299-499. Full blackout packages (windows, mirrors, handles, grilles, emblems) run $599-999. Tesla-specific packages run $399-699. Complex vehicles with lots of trim pieces or intricate grille designs may run higher. We provide exact quotes after seeing your specific vehicle.
Is chrome delete permanent?
No — and that's one of its biggest advantages. The vinyl wrap is fully reversible. If you're leasing, you can remove it before turn-in. If you sell the car, the buyer can keep it or have it removed. Meanwhile, the vinyl actually protects your original chrome from oxidation and UV damage. Your factory trim stays pristine underneath.
What vinyl is best for chrome delete?
We use 3M 2080 and Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film for all chrome deletes. These are cast vinyl films designed for automotive use — they conform to curves without lifting, resist UV fading, and last 5-7 years with proper care. Cheap calendered vinyl lifts, fades, and looks terrible within a year.
