How long does XPEL PPF typically last?
With proper care, XPEL Ultimate Plus and Stealth PPF can last 10+ years. The 10-year manufacturer warranty covers defects, but many installations remain in excellent condition well beyond that. The self-healing top coat continues working throughout the film's life — minor scratches and swirl marks disappear with heat exposure.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my car?
Yes. XPEL window tint and PPF warranties are fully transferable to new owners, which adds value to your vehicle at resale. Ceramic coating warranties are typically not transferable. We provide warranty documentation that you can pass along to the next owner.
What if I move out of the Sacramento area?
XPEL's warranty is honored by any authorized XPEL dealer nationwide. If you move, you can have warranty work performed at any XPEL-certified shop. We register your installation with XPEL directly, so your warranty follows you.
